    Benefitting Charity

Dedicated in Support of Sheep Dog Impact Assistance Hawai’i!

Founded in 2010, Sheep Dog Impact Assistance (SDIA) is a national non-profit that provides Get Off The Couch™
programming to our nation’s “Sheep Dogs” (Veterans, Law Enforcement, Fire & Rescue and EMS personnel).

The sheep pretend the wolf will never come, but the Sheep Dog lives for that day.  ~Lt. Col. Dave Grossman (US Army)
After the attacks on 9/11, most of the sheep, that is, most citizens in America said, “Thank God I wasn’t on one of those planes.”
The Sheep Dogs said, “Dear God, I wish I could have been on one of those planes.  Maybe I could have made a difference.”

Our nation’s heroes have an innate desire to serve, and their service gives purpose to their lives.  After an injury or their tour of duty
ends, SDIA programs bring Sheep Dogs with similar experiences together for camaraderie and opportunities to continue
serving, which helps prevent suicides in our Veteran and First Responder communities.
